"Imam ‘Ali ibn Abi Taleb (as) has said: “One who proclaims himself to lead others should start by teaching himself before he teaches others. He should teach through his character before using his tongue to teach. One who is able to teach and discipline oneself is more worthy of esteem then one who teaches and disciplines others."
